Life as an expat in Buenos Aires
This so so beautiful, thankyou for the link!
Gosh that's lovely! :) Thank you for sharing....made my Friday morning!
Glad you enjoyed it .. I listen to it all the time :)
One of my most favorite pieces of classical music for ever - they even played it in my English grammar school (equivalent of high school here) when we gathered in the gym for meetings etc. It always amazed me that he composed such awesome music in the 16th century - and for four consecutive monarchs, Henry VIII, Edward VI, Queen Mary, and Queen Elizabeth I.Thanks Candice for sharing this beautiful Vaughan Williams rendition from Gloucester Cathedral - it is certainly the most beautiful of all 'Fantasia on a Theme' recordingsHugs on a very cold, icy morning.Mary x
Simply magical. Thank you for sharing such beauty.Snow coming your way, we have the sleds out :)~Jo
Mary, they played Nimrod every morning at our Junior school. Isn't it wonderful how a piece of music has the power to transport you to another time and place.
Mary ,, copy it from my post and put it in your computer and you can hear it every morning :)I am so glad everyone liked this . It is one of my top favorites and I listen to it often .. my husband and I had/have a large collection of cd's of classical music but I get hung up on one thing and listen to it over and over ... this is the latest one :)
