My husband and I , with our dog, Tate, moved to Buenos Aires.. Life has never been the same since ~ Back in the USA ... life is still not the same !
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Just a note to say that we have a Peaceful Kingdom here ... everyone is getting along, no one has growled since Minette's outburst the first day .. she regrets it.
She told me so.
She said she is starting to like Merlin.
He is quiet and doesn't steal her food.
Merlin likes to hang out with her, here with me, in the crate where he naps in a nest of pillows.

We Be Happy ...

Have you put tuna juice on his paws to make him feel at home?

I cannot imagine putting tuna juice on a cats feet then letting it walk around the house on my rugs and furniture. The kitten and the little old man are fine with each other .. everyone just accepted the other and all is peaceful and sweet ... an no fish odor LOL

Yay! So happy for all of you. What beauties they both are. They will become fast friends before you know it. :)

Thank you Mary ! Right now they are still pretending that the other doesn't exist but this morning was a nice love-in with the new baby and I.

I hadn't thought of how it would work with an older cat! It has worked for me with little scared kittens. Once they get tuna juice on their front paws they have to sit down and lick it all off, and by the time that's done they are feeling pretty comfortable and ready to explore. With 4 clean paws.
