My husband and I , with our dog, Tate, moved to Buenos Aires.. Life has never been the same since ~ Back in the USA ... life is still not the same !
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Things to do, People to see , Hurry Hurry

I am a slow person these days.
No, not that kind of slow, just slow moving.
It takes more than one , okay, more than three cups of coffee to make me feel like I am up and awake.
It takes a while to mosey into the shower and make the bed.

It is not unusual for us to just get out of the house around 2:00 pm ..
Of course I can blame it on the fact that we rarely go to bed before 1:00 am, we have no Pup who needs to be walked or given breakfast ... if he were here, things would be different.
So it is after 11:00 am and I am just getting ready to go make the bed and think about where to go and what to do.

We are going to visit our realtor today. He is a friend so it is a double treat.
Our apartment is for sale.
We want it to happen fast.
We need to find a shipping company.

So I sit here every day and blog, read blogs and email friends.
That is when I am not out taking photos and blogging those and doing photo editing.
I am a busy woman !

So let's all slow down ( and make me feel better) and remember that everything will be there tomorrow, you can do it later .
Or in the words of a brilliant woman, Tomorrow is another day.

I hope that when I retire I am climbing out of bed late, staying up till 1 and spending my day walking, buying bakery scones and taking sounds wonderful.

Candice - Do you have an idea of where you want to live? The U.S., maybe Paris, London??? Inquiring minds want to know.

I don't know why, I know it sounds strange, but I feel kind of sad.

The best of everything in your new adventure.

Candice - How exciting. Do you have an idea where you want to live? The U.S., Paris, London...inquiring minds want to know.

For some reason I feel a little sad reading about this new adventure. Am I crazy?? Maybe.

LOL, Dubai was never mentioned, hmmmm, should I give it a thought ?

razmataz, You know me, a house and a dog call to me, as soon as I have it, the city will call to me.

karen, Paris and London were ideas that were sadly put away for various reasons .. now the urge to be near loved ones and to have more space around us and perhaps a bit more quiet is calling us back to the US ..

It is understandable that you want to be near loved ones. While city life can be exciting, I like the idea of quiet. I have often thought of living in Paris but know it's a place I would rather visit than live in.

We'll be looking forward to the next chapter in your life.

I've been feeling a bit slow moving of late, too - though my poison of choice to get me through the mornings is Coke Zero!
