It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Evening Thoughts

It was a day of fast walks and slow meanders ..
A visit with the vet to say hello and that we missed her ..
This was hard, I have not been able to bring myself to go to the office .
It was so very bittersweet, seeing her, everything familiar and cheerful , her dog with her ball that she brings to everyone who comes in the door .. but someone was missing.

We decided that we needed to go to the bakery , L'epi ..
I needed a powdered sugar Croissant and I needed it Now.
Along with some fresh bread loaves, Brioche and these Crisps things, thin as a cracker, but they seem to be the french bread dough, rolled very thin, topped with cheese bits and toasted until they are hard crackers ... according to my husband, addictive , hard crackers.

I took a few photos here and there, it was so gloomy, I was not anxious to stop and get more chilled so they were those on-the-fly photos that are probably all out of focus or have some strangers head in them.

I am just waiting for the warm weather to come back.
It was here for a couple of days, to tease us, then it left and we were wearing jackets again today.
Trees are blooming, things that I don't know the names of are blooming, it is Spring, that is a sign ... but where is the warm sunshine ?
If you have it, please send it South, tout suite !
Merci ~
