It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

A Clean Toilet is Important

Even if I have nowhere to go and nothing to do, when I get up in the morning, I take a shower, wash my hair , blow it out and put on makeup.
Then I feel ready to greet the day ... helped along with a few mugs of coffee ..
French Roast.

Today was gorgeous, sunshine, cool, puffy white clouds in an amazing blue sky.
The cats and I spent a lot of the day out on the lanai ..

Today I wore ... black yoga pants .. black tee shirt ... and a gold chain bracelet that my husband gave me as a gift a long time ago.

I did stuff around the house but had no ambition to getting dressed and being out . . which would only mean going to the supermarket ... I did go to the bank. They appreciated how well my bracelet went with my all black outfit ...
Tonight is a night for lolling on the sofa and being walked on by various cats of various sizes and weights. Thank goodness Honey is not interested in walking on me.
So tonight I  found some torn up tissues on the floor in the bathroom, someone had a grand time attacking the toilet paper roll . I wadded them up and tossed them into the toilet.
And my bracelet slid off my wrist and into the toilet too.
We will not speak of the pain in my heart ... but there was hope ! It was still visible ...
I stuck my arm into the toilet and grabbed that bracelet ... then the bracelet and I were scrubbed with household cleaners and soap ... 2 times. My bracelet is safe in the jewelry box ..
I am just so relieved .. I am glad the toilet was clean .. It is even cleaner now !

I posted this as a reminder that toilets must always be kept as clean as possible, as if you were going to have to stick your hand in one ! :)
