I miss being stuck in with no choice but to stay home and bake cookies.
I miss the children having so much fun then making them come inside and thaw out.
I miss the look of it.
Even alone in the house in Upstate NY .. the snow was so deep ! the trees bent with the weight of it piling up on the branches .. the footprints in the snow from deer coming through the yard .. the bird feeder busy with birds and later in the day, with deer.
Yes, deer ... they would eat the seed from the bird feeders.
Thus I felt it my duty to the deer and the birds to put out deer food .. luckily there were farms up the hill where you could see deer along with cattle, munching out in the field.
But here I am ... Sunny Florida ... and it is .. today is gorgeous.
I am in my pajamas and have nowhere to go and nothing to do.
I think I know where I would rather be ....
I so hope you will find a resolution to where you are and where you want to be. It's hard when one feels like where they are just isn't home. Dream, plan, put into action a little at a time and love on the cats and birds each day.
