It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

What a beautiful pussy cat! We are cat people here too.
ReplyDeleteI just had to call in to thank you for your sweet remarks on John Gray's about my son. I am hoping/planning (my computer skills are not the best) to start a blog of my own soon, and my first post will be about my boy.
And yes, I have shed quite a few happy tears over him as well. The first time we met, his face was pretty wet, too. Like mother, like son.
Dearest Candace,
ReplyDeleteSo glad you finally read my comment from weeks ago.
Yes she is darling and it is hard to look at her, knowing that my six kitties are at home with the cat-sitter. They were very clingy on the day we left for Jacksonville, FL for going to midnight Mass at the Basilica. Hope they have settled now without us in the home. It is cold in Georgia and we enjoy the warm weather here in south Florida but will return to some more frost at night over the new year.
Wishing you a happy and above all a healthy new year!
Hugs,
Mariette
