My husband and I , with our dog, Tate, moved to Buenos Aires.. Life has never been the same since ~ Back in the USA ... life is still not the same !
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Lolling Around

The Day After a holiday is always a bit rough.
Late night, too much eating and drinking and being silly.
Sometimes it is just nice to be able to loll around and do nothing ...

Jacqueline, thank you so very much !
The drive down scared me before I did it but it turned out to be just boring.
Staying in hotels each night with cats turned out to be fine, comforting and the only part that was uncomfortable was my own worry about doors being left open, escapes etc.
They loved hotel living, so do I and we were so lucky to have this apt waiting when we got here.
They are fine .. enjoying the adjustment of a new sibling... well, maybe not actually "enjoying" ..

Isn't it strange how cats will try to fit into the smallest containers possible - I wonder if the feeling of something surrounding them is comforting. We have a small box on the countertop and the cats all enjoy fitting themselves into it. Pomme fell asleep, neatly curled up and just squeezed into the tiny space! Bless!
