It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Thank you !

I am going to be super busy in the next months with packing, moving, unpacking etc.
The odds are there will be little time to post and probably nothing that interesting.
Thanks to the poster who commented to me that I was a "trainwreck" ... I guess I am
wearing out my drama.

So thank you to all of you who have been so kind and concerned and full of helpful and friendly advice, those who know me and those who don't.
Thank you for some really good ideas and for just being there.

I guess you will hear from me, when I am settled and can blog again ..

Thank you .. thank you ... thank you !

  1. Good luck with all the decisions you will be making in this next month or so.

  2. Wishing You Happiness and Peace Wherever You "Land" <3

  3. In this crazy world, we are all trainwrecks of one kind or another.

    Wu - thank you .. so .. much !

Mary, I will try to update. As long as I am not committed to the Rest Home for Temporarily Insane Cat Ladies.

  7. We are all train wrecks at one time or another.
You have a lot on your plate right now and posted out to the blog world for some help, ideas and understanding.
I am sure if the comment person would have thought about the fact you just moved back to America, your husband dies and you are alone they could have chose their words better.

OK this is written just like I read it so sorry about the word I never write it or use .....
It like on John's blog where a commenter said "fucking americans", It has been a horrible two weeks for me, yes my Japanese family was here and I loved having them but I also was dealing with Watson deteriorating health. Keeping it nice for my granddaughter and family and dealing with the bad test results that I didn't wait and just commented back.
If he would have said "fucking american government" I would have agreed but I am not a fucking american.
Words hurt ! no matter what sticks and stones say.

I wish I could help more.
Please send more photos of some sweet kitties.
Please read this blog "Gorogoro and Nikoniko (sorry I can't get my link to work) she has made her whole home a kitty home. You will like it.
    Make you smile.

    cheers, parsnip

  8. Your blog is a continuing adventure, which I am enjoying following. I wish you well in the next stage. I understand being too busy to keep us up to date, but I know I'm not the only reader who really wants to know what's next. I hope there is a lot of fun for you in whatever comes next, and that you'll find time to relax and soak in all the good things. I'll be thinking of you every now and then, wishing you the best!

  9. The Real adventure is coming next ... where am I going to go and where will I live and can I take some of this house money and go back to Buenos Aires ?
    To be continued .........

  10. All the best to you as you journey forward...take good care of those kitties! :)

  11. This is Laurie from Chile. I am sorry someone wrote hurtful words... We all have train wreck moments and the anonymity of the internet seems to enable people to lash out in ways they should not and most would not dare to in face to face encounters. Civility matters and so does kindness. I wish you all the best wherever you decide to live. Remember that Buenos Aires is always with you: the Plaza San Martin with its frothy green trees, the heavy humid air in summer, the strong coffee and lilting accent, it's all still there in your heart. Best, Laurie

Thank you for your comments.... Trolls are being dealt with ... be patient if your comment does not show up immediately. Thanks !!
