It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Tate 1999-2011

No dog was so well loved and so treasured.

He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog.
You are his life, his love, his leader.
He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart.
You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion.

Oh Candice I'm so sorry. Please be strong and just think of the wonderful years you had with him, and him with you. Many people wish they had a "dog's life" like the one Tate had.
Muchos besos.

How devastationg for you. I know that people like us who love our dogs deeply, spend most of
our hours with them. When the time comes that you go to the rainbow, we feel like we lost part of ourselves,

Sorry for your loss. Losing a loyal companion is devastating. It is a very sad time, yet many happy memories. Thinking of you at this very difficult time, and sending you some hugs (do you feel them?).

I have been reading your blog for some time now and I always looked forward to see your friend
light up my morning, just looking and hearing about his days made mine. He will always be in my heart too. God bless you.

Oh...I'm so sorry to hear about this. My heart aches for you, Candice. From a fellow Standard Poodle person (we lost one and it took us years to find another) I know exactly how you are feeling. I wish I was there to give you a hug.
