It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

The Computer Doctor

Monday, we have to take my beautiful loyal computer to the Doctor.
If it goes the way it has in the past, they will keep it in the Hospital for a few days/weeks, then hopefully ( please God) I will get it back , in Tip Top shape again.
Last time was a long hospital stay but it turned out to be something that they were able to replace ( courtesy of Dr Apple) and it has worked well , until lately when there have been many signs of illness.
A reluctance to get up and do some work.
A slowness that can only mean that it has no energy and would rather sleep.
No fever, but it does go dark sometimes and is in no mood to listen to me.
Maybe a headache since there have been times where it seems reluctant to look up something or to tell me what I want to know.

I had thought it might be overworked but then, remembered, these things are built for people who do more than I do on a computer... I am a cream puff to what some computer users can be.
So I am sure, my Computer needs a Doctor.

This all leads me to say that I might not be posting until it comes home .
I can use my husbands laptop, so I might post but if it is annoying to use .. My files ! My photos ! My Stuff !!... I might just let it go until I can post "normally" again.

So don't forget me if you don't hear from me, I will be there, holding its keyboard, urging the doctors to Save him whatever you can do, Save Him !!!

  1. Dearest Candice,

Hope indeed that your Apple can be restored to good health. Guess my PC's health is also lacking in some ways... It takes so much time to do certain things.
But don't worry, we'll wait for you to re-surface on Blogger!

Enjoy your beautiful weather and PUB!

    Love,

  2. Oh dear!

When my PC went to the PC hospital they told me he needed a Processor transplant. He caught a virus prior to going so, all in all, he was gone a long time.
