It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Australia

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the people of Australia, to those affected by this horrid flooding.
To those worrying about their families, I add my hopes that this ends soon.. and your loved ones come home safely.

  1. There was footage of the flooding in Brisbane as I was leaving for work this morning. I can't even picture it properly, not really. Those poor people must be stunned...

  2. My relatives live just north of Brisbane and luckily they are out of the main flooded area.

I've been to Brisbane myself twice but it was impossible to recognise it on the news footage as being the same place.

  3. I was horrified by the footage...for some reason the sight of a lone little kangaroo standing on floating debris is what made me breakdown. Too sad.
