It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Wadda Day !

I woke up at 6:30 am .. we were expecting the painter at 10:00 am. I guess my inner clock isn't what it used to be.
He was here on time and glory be, he only took about 2 hours, scraping and making a mess then filling in holes and making more mess then God bless him, he cleaned up his own mess.
He might not be the most handsome man I have ever seen but he is worth his (considerable) weight in gold as far as Workers go.
He will be back next Monday then he will finish and hopefully I will bore all my friends to death with photos of a newly painted bathroom.
After looking at cracked walls and mold up at the top of the walls, newly painted, shiny white walls will take some getting used to !
So with the nice painter out of the way, we had a beautiful day out there, waiting for us.
It is getting warmer each day, no more heavy sweaters, heavy jackets, I actually sat at the cafe in a little cotton top with a cotton sweater and felt a bit too warm.

This is the British Embassy. They have some very nice gardens, most of which you cannot see but all around the "edges" are pretty parks.
So now we have all week to enjoy the beautiful weather, no more painter this week.. hopefully just plenty of sunshine coming our way.

  3. There's a lapacho rosado at the British Embassy too, how nice. I have to go and take pictures to the one on Figueroa Alcorta before it's too late, the flowers won't be there too long.
