Today we spent about an hour at the United States Embassy ... we were on US soil, right here in Buenos Aires.
Mostly it looked like a concrete bunker in Argentina but what do I know. The people were very pleasant and we got what we needed quickly and with a smile. I was glad to be out of there, as it was another beautiful day and sitting in a government building belonging to any country on a beautiful day is a waste of a beautiful day.
By the time we got home and finished some errands, most of the beautiful day was zooming by ... so we took Pup to the park and enjoyed the warm sun on our faces.
There is going to be a celebration at the Japanese Gardens. We have to go .
There will be Taiko Drummers !
We saw them in Portland Oregon, our son got to see them ( the real ones) , in Japan, on the island where they live .. imagine, on the beach, at night, listening to those drums .. wow !
You are quite the jetsetter! I like that second photo.

Glad you liked the photo .
ReplyDeleteToday will be even more exciting ! We have to go to the Post Office :-)
I remember when the Jardín Japonés opened up in BA, such a beautiful place! I remember the grown ups saying:"We should give the Japanese all Palermo...they will make it gorgeous!"
ReplyDeleteI didn't have the opportunity to take the family there yet, but we will visit soon...yeah!!
Taiko Drummers! WooHoo. I've seen a performance once and it was tremendous. Hope you enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteClick on the word Portland !
ReplyDeleteYou can get a tiny taste of Taiko :)
Love the park bench sleeper with pup. Too funny! Such perfect days after the hellishly hot summer. Lovely!
ReplyDeleteWhen my son and I saw the Taiko drummers in London, they were phenomenal.... the audience did not want to let them finish... regardless of the sheer "visible" exhaustion of the performers... such a fun and wonderful show to see :) Love the photo of the napper....
ReplyDeleteThank you Bri :)
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see the Taiko in London .. I bet your son wanted to be a drummer after he saw them.
