It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Crying for Happy

After having a bite to eat and cleaning up. I took some shredded chicken in broth, hoping it might tempt Honey.
I walked into my room and sat on the floor to put out the dishes for her little picnic...small bits of this and that, she has been refusing food.
I put the little bowl down and she sniffed it a few times then proceeded to clean the bowl.
Twice !!!
I tried not to cheer and cry out loud .
She cleaned her plate , drank some water, and proceeded to take her after dinner bath.
She is convinced that I am insane...crying, laughing, repeatedly saying ."good girl!"
She ate it all.
The after dinner bath is being enjoyed right now..wait til she finds out she gets to have a bedtime snack too!

Yes,I am "Crying for Happy."

  1. Dearest Candice.
Good for you and it shows that patience pays off in the end. Let her fluff back to her true self, it might take some more time and remember, this summer heat is an extra burden on all of us and animals alike!
    Hugs,
    Mariette
