It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Shame

So in WW2, families were rounded up by the Nazis and put into camps.
Men. Women . Children.of course the children died quickly, starvation, illness , living conditions. And no mother to comfort them , to sooth their fears.
They died. By the Thousands.

Families , mothers, fathers and children have been rounded up and are being held in facilities with little to no food ,beds, comfort of any kind including just being held in their mothers arms.
Children are dying every day.  Here in the United States of America...from abuse , neglect and President Donald Trumps orders.

Imagine a 2 year old, a 4 year old and older, ripped away from their mothers , their fathers and siblings and being terrified ...no mother to comfort them.

This can't be blamed on a political party.
Only on a man who should never have been elected President of what used to be a country that was known for freedom and living safely.
And we used to be proud of being Americans.
Not people who treat children and their parents the way a certain soulless person did years ago.
Camps where children sleep and get sick and die among strangers because they've been taken from their mothers.

The shame...

  1. Candice, you have captured my sentiments and my feelings of shame to a T. Every single day I wake thinking that it can’t possibly get any worse and of course it does, get worse.....much worse. Putting children in Concentration Camps, because by definition, that is precisely what they are, shows his cruel inhumanity for what it is.
