It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

"Outside of a dog, a book is a man's best friend.
Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Peeping

I have a Peeping Tom!
But his name is really Rocky.
The cats are not sure what to think of him.
They are very territorial and he just freaks them out.
I make them go inside and the little guy can snoop around without fear.
So far he is curious but goes back into the woods...
One night I sat in the dark on the lanai, listening to music and appreciating the quiet and comfortable weather when I thought I saw something moving in the dark near my door.
OK that kinda freaked me out but I waited and watched.
And that little face popped up for a look inside.
The cats are interested but I like to keep them inside while he is visiting.
I look forward to seeing what else we have living out there, so close to where we live..
