It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Perhaps the name in the dictionary for that definition should just be “honey”.
ReplyDeleteLOL, sounds right :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes it is awwww Honey ...<3
ReplyDeleteAll of my cats have looked like that, LOL. Good eaters around here (including yours truly!).
ReplyDeleteHaha .. she was my moms tiny kitten .. not fat at all ... but when I arrived here , when my mom died, Honey was this size .. so I think while my mom was ill then gone, she overate because she was overfed .. she makes me fall down laughing when she runs up the staircase .. she races me to the top. I don't even have to let her win, she is fast !
ReplyDeleteCats do seem to love the stairs! My fat cat Lucy runs to sit in wait at the bottom of the stairs for my 9 lb dog Tippy every night at bedtime. Tippy knows what is going to happen and hesitates for a while, then slowly slinks unwillingly to the bottom, then makes a run for it, past Lucy, up the stairs as fast as she can go, but Lucy takes off after her and always manages to catch her and give her a swat before reaching the top! It is SOOOOOO funny, I die laughing every night! It's funny, too, because they get along fine and, during the day, Lucy has no interest in playing with anybody at all...
ReplyDeleteLOL, that is so funny and I can see it so clearly ... my little spunky one does something like that once in a while.
ReplyDeleteDid you notice her “arms”?
ReplyDeleteLOL
