The Jacarandas are at their peak, there are small areas around the trees where the ground is purple from the fallen petals.
The scent has been wonderful, the sight of them has been incredible.
I am pretty sure that this year has been the best for the Jacarandas in Buenos Aires.
(I am pretty sure I say this every year)

- My husband and I , with our dog, Tate, moved to Buenos Aires, 6 years ago. Life has not been the same since ~
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

We missed their first blooms by about a week, but they sure look from afar to have been particularly spectacular this year. We've been enjoying them vicarioulsy, mostly thanks to you!
bee and jay, I think this year has been the best, there seem to be more , bigger and they are lasting longer .. with the storms we have had this past week, though, they are pretty much finished.
Next year come about a week later :)
