It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Feliz Fin de Semana

Another tough day in Paradise ... er, Buenos Aires.
It is cooler and perfect for sitting on a bench, or lolling in the grass and enjoying the day while not having any worries other than What would you like for dinner tonight ..
Walking to the park, we noticed Barbie had parked her car on the street where our favorite cafe is located. I wondered if Pup would fit , if the 3 of us would fit in a car this size.
Pup feels much better and is enjoying walking and lolling in the park again.
A lovely way to start the weekend.
Feliz Fin de Semana ~

  2. Hello:
How wonderful that you have made your home in Buenos Aires. Such moves, at least in our view, although filled with the excitement of discovering the unknown are also filled with doubt about how one might overcome difficulties in a foreign culture. We, like you perhaps, felt very brave in moving to Budapest but some five years on it all seems so normal!

We are so pleased to have come across your blog and have signed up as Followers in order not to miss any future posts.

  3. Carla, I wondered what kind of attention we would get, riding around town in that little pink Fiat with Pup, head out the window, ears blowing in the breeze lol.

Jane & Lance , thank you so much !
It is very exciting , moving like this, but has it's down sides .. like after a certain amount of time goes by, you start to think about Another Country to move to :)
