My Photo
My husband and I , with our dog, Tate, moved to Buenos Aires, 8 years ago. Life has never been the same since ~ Back in the USA ... life is still not the same !
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

The Further Adventures of Pup

Therefore to this dog will I tenderly, not scornfully, render praise and favor.
With my hand upon his head, is my benediction said ..
Therefore and forever.

Elizabeth Barrett Browning.

The Vet says he is improving.
If he will only stop licking the shirt now.
We were able to go to the park and walk around, although he quickly grew tired and just sat down in the grass and looked at us.
So we came home.
He looks great in blue.

  1. Just caught up with your posts and so glad to hear Pup is doing well!

And you're right -- blue makes Pup's hair color really pop.

    :-)

  2. Speaking of a Hair .. he needs a bath !
Thanks .. he still manages to lie across every doorway of every room I go into ... effectively making me stay in one room for a while in order not to disturb him ..

  6. I hope Pup is feeling better soon! Tell him his fans want more stories of his adventures in the park, especially with other Pups. He'll have to get back to his old self soon to keep his fans happy.

A pat and a scratch and lots of good wishes for a quick recovery!

  7. Thank you !
We are just back from a walk in the park, a hot sunny park, we now have a limp, overwarm Pup but he is getting back his spark.
He played the old game of Chase me or I will eat Grass... and walked with a bit of his old energy.
Now we are all hiding in darkened rooms with all the a/c going.
We are ready for the end of Summer .. like now.

  8. I am sorry I missed this thread about your poor pup, but I have had my head full of my own pups problems.

I am so pleased to hear that pup is doing so well, but I can assure you that blue is not his colour!

He's a black and white stripes doggy if ever there was one!
