It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Summer view

The day started out with cloudy skies and a chilly wind and we were all three of us, happy to stay in and be as lazy as one can be on a grey Saturday morning. Many cups of coffee and perhaps a pup nap or two and we decided to go out for a walk, see if it has warmed up any out there ..
We walked to the park where we sat in the sun and talked. Pup met a few other pups and they had their own chat .. it was very pleasant. "Our" park was quiet, a few people walking through, stopping to take photos of the statue then on to the Feria across the street. Which was so crowded with holiday and souvenir shoppers that we avoided even going near there. Later we walked to Volta and picked up tonight's dessert ... Cherry / Chocolate Swiss Ice Cream .. We always buy two flavors, keeps your taste buds from getting bored. I am going for Chocolate Nero and Banana next time ... is your mouth watering yet?
So it looks like Summer is here.
Tonight there is a "band" concert ... of a sort.
Drummers are here, we saw quite a few nearby , from all over South America and beyond. They are the drummers you hear and see in Rio at Carnival. They will all be drumming tonight.. in San Telmo.
I am not sure if we will go but that does not mean we will not hear it..
Candombe !
