It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

It's a Pup's Life ...

Today was unseasonably warm and grey turning into very windy and increasingly chilly.
We ran errands, I did my pharmacy "thing" ...
I love it. Medicines that you have to see a doctor, get a prescription, go to the pharmacy and pay a lot for in Other Places... you can just walk into the pharmacy and ask for here .. and they don't cost much.

Then we took Pup to the park.
I had all sorts of intentions of going here and there but Wow ! the wind was icy and blowing hard and I started worrying about tree limbs coming down or things on terraces blowing off... yes, some days having an active imagination is tiresome.
So we came home and had a quiet peaceful day .. and a delicious, if - I - do - say- so , dinner !

When we were living in Portland Oregon, we had a friend and neighbor .. we will call him J.
J had two Labradors, one black and one blonde. The black one passed away, from old age and there was just the blonde one, Marilyn, actually sister to the black one, so she was a bit old too.
And as sweet as a lamb, she was just so sweet and gentle.
When we came to Buenos Aires on our visit, J took care of Pup. Marilyn seemed OK with it. And when we were home again, J took a trip and we got to pup-sit Marilyn.

So these are the photos ... What ? you expected a story ? nope .. just some sweet photos..
                                                                             Marilyn

Pup realizing that Marilyn was staying , Marilyn feeling at home.
Pup realizing that Marilyn was going to stay for Supper !

Pup at the sight of that bitch  in his bed !!!
But Pup got over the interloper taking over his bed, toys, dish and Mom and Dad and next thing he knew, he was on an airplane, no, two airplanes ! and flying to Argentina.
Where he was happy to find that his bed and his toys and his dishes were all waiting for him.
He was a little jet lagged (this is the rental apartment  where we stayed upon arrival in Buenos Aires)
But these days he gets plenty of rest, relaxation and fresh air and looks even better and younger than he did almost 4 years ago !                              Pup today, at the park ...

The End ( well, just for today) .. Stay tuned for the further adventures of  Pup in Argentina !
