It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Lazy, I'm feeling so lazy ..

Crazy/Lazy ... close enough.. enjoy listening while you read ..

Today was one of those Top Ten Days.
The weather is perfect... cool but not too, sunny but with a cloud now and then ... a breeze, not bad .. good for taking a certain Pup for a long walk.
There was a cafe waiting at the end of the walk , so all parties involved should have been content.

But being Lazy, it took us ( OK , me) a while to get dressed and presentable and out of the house ..
Pup was enjoying his own laziness , lolling on the floor with his mostly chewed to death rawhide chewy bone.
My husband was enjoying his book ( The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo  - yes, he is giving it rave reviews).. so no one was in a great hurry to get out of the house.

Once we were out, it was lovely, strolling in the sun, cooling off in the shade, getting chilled and appreciating being back in the sun.
As you can tell, it was a walk full of excitement.

We wandered past the Eva Peron  monument, all cleaned up but still, some fool managed to get inside and spray some graffiti ..

( If I have any complaints about where I live .. this is a big one. I hate graffiti. It is rude, malicious and disrespectful .. it isn't about Evita, it is about the parks and monuments being for everyone and not there for pea brained fools to spray paint on it ... ) There, that felt good.

So we headed to our cafe where we would have a cafe con leche and a sweet of some sort, but there were no tables left. We waited until too late.

So we wandered back towards home , ending up at a lovely little place called Florencio Bistro & Patisserie .
This is hidden on a one way street, with homes and no other businesses, just about half a block from the British Embassy and what  a tiny wonderful place it is !
We sat outside on the sidewalk, at the only table ... and had our coffees and a slice of cake.
The slice was the size of maybe 2 slices and it was Chocolate with layers of Dulce de Leche .. iced with chocolate.
All my little brain cells that urge me to eat chocolate and sugar were buzzing with happiness.

So fortified with plenty of caffeine and sugar, we bounced back home and went back to our books, blogs, and magazines.... and rawhide chewy bone.

It has been a perfect day for a Lazybones type of person..
I hope that you had one or can have one tomorrow.. they are really best on weekends, although I have done my research and find week day Lazy Days are quite satisfying too.
