My husband and I , with our dog, Tate, moved to Buenos Aires.. Life has never been the same since ~ Back in the USA ... life is still not the same !
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

Demonstrations

Today was a demonstration by some people regarding the Malvinas/Falklands. I have nothing to say about the issue, but the demonstration was quite close , therefore photos were taken.
I am just sorry there is no sound.
Starting at 5:30 am. Large explosions.
I thought we were under attack or someone had blown up a building.
It was some sort of firecracker.
I was not charmed.
You see that man there with the orange vest? Behind him are many men and some wearing all black gear that protects them from Everything.
Darth Vader came to mind.
At times like this, the Pup and I alone in the park, liked the idea of a few Darth Vaders standing nearby.
They closed off the streets to traffic but the buses that transported the protesters were allowed to park on the streets. I lost count after 12.
I didn't even try to figure out how many people there were.

Ah, yes, the season of protests...protests in London, protests in Wisconsin, protests in many places. I admire the peoples' right to assemble, but I really must insist they do so peaceably, and if they're quiet, too, all that much the better for everyone. (If one must shout in order to make one's point, of what value is that point? The truth is the truth, whether whispered or amplified [said the woman who is only able to speak quietly due to a permanent infirmity], is it not?)
