It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

The Morning After

This is where the anniversary celebration was held. At night on a quiet residential block, this little store front bistro glowed red and welcoming. We had a table for two and sat next to some lovely people who ended up sharing our evening with us and it was all very pleasant.
Felix is a perfect host and the service is excellent and my dinner date was perfect. . a definite Keeper .

We spent a lazy early summer day wandering the neighborhood with Pup and relaxing, staying up late and drinking and eating and today is going to be much the same.
Slowly going wherever the notion takes us.. perhaps a Bloody Mary would be good for the morning after?

It was a perfect 100th anniversary and I look forward to 100 more.
The gift? oh, just a little something in a pretty blue box .. ahhh, yes, now you see one of the reasons why he is a Keeper !
