My Photo
My husband and I , with our dog, Tate, moved to Buenos Aires, 8 years ago. Life has never been the same since ~ Back in the USA ... life is still not the same !
It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new.
But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful.
There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power.

Inside of a dog, it's too dark to read."

A Spring Day

Another beautiful spring day and of course, with visitors coming in 4 days , I woke with a sore throat and feeling terrible.
Thanks to good medicines ... I am feeling a little better and will be fine by the time the Visitors arrive.
But for now, I am lolling around and being pitiful. ( I do "pitiful" well . )

Spring is just bursting out all over and it is warmer every day . Summer is anxious to get started. After this sad winter, Summer is very welcome.
Awake, thou wintry earth - Fling off thy sadness!
Fair vernal flowers, Laugh forth your ancient gladness!

  2. Even though I love Autumn the most of all the seasons, there is something so wonderful about Spring when it finally is birthed by Winter. Nothing like all the flowers and warm breezes. I'll be thinking of you there, in Spring, while I am here, in Autumn. Do you celebrate Thanksgiving there?

  3. Thank you Carla, it does cheer a person up to walk around here.

Teri, Autumn is my favorite season too.
But it is so wonderful here in Spring/summer. I do get tired of the heat by the end of summer but now- the warm days are a gift.
No, we don't celebrate Thanksgiving here.
First of all, for the 2 of us to eat a turkey, to find a turkey ! to heat up the house with the oven on so long, all sounds awful to me :)
I will wait until we are in the States to do that again.
(But in my heart, I do give Thanksgiving .. for all the wonderful things in my life )
